LOUIS E. HADLEY
Louis Edward Hadley, 79 of Smithville, MO passed away May 10, 2016. He was born March 2, 1937 in St. Joseph, MO to Roy and Eugenia (Saxton) Hadley.
Louis retired from Pioneer Container after 50 years of service. He was passionate about being outside whether it was camping, fishing, or walking the many miles he walked daily with his wife. He was also a strong provider who loved his family, his granddaughters and his dogs.
Louis is preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Eugenia Hadley, 6 brothers and 6 sisters.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of almost 60 years, Barbara, of the home; sons, Randy (Nina) and Timothy (Karen), of Kansas City, MO; brother, Lawrence (Karen) Hadley, of Smithville, MO; granddaughters, Ella (Jay) Sportsman and Amanda Hadley, of Kansas City, MO; great-granddaughter, Jayla Sportsman; sisters-in-law, Linda Horn, of Doraville, GA, Dorothy Hadley, of Savannah, MO and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Thursday, May 12, 2016 from 6-8 PM at Terrace Park Funeral Home, 801 NW 108th Street, (169 HWY & Shoal Creek PKWY) Kansas City, MO. Funeral services will be Friday, May 13, 2016 at 10 AM at the funeral home chapel. Burial to follow in Terrace Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made the KC Pet Rescue.
