Lori Howard, 82, passed away May 22, 2020. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Alzheimer’s Foundation.
Lori was born Loretta Ann Wyckoff on September 26, 1937 in Okmulgee, Oklahoma to Earl and Elaine (Ferrell) Wyckoff. She grew up in Tulsa, where she graduated from high school. She then lived in Nicoma Park and Tulsa before moving to the Kansas City area in 1974. She had been employed as a paralegal at various law firms throughout the area. Lori was very active and had many different interests and hobbies: she enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, square dancing, reading, traveling to many states and countries with her sister, Judy, and she had her pilot’s license. She also loved to collect things, especially snowmen, Santa Clauses, teapots, and anything Betty Boop. Lori was a member of Northland Cathedral.
Lori was preceded in death by her parents; and a daughter, Debra Ann Robb, in 2017. She is survived by three children: David Haught, Donnie Haught, and Darla Goodson; seven grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; one great-great granddaughter; a sister, Judy Hampton; a brother, Steven Wyckoff; two nephews, Mike and Tom Holbrook; a great nephew, Lance Wyckoff; and her significant other, Paul Kimball, who took care of her and loved her dearly.
Lori kept busy and loved life! She will be missed by all who knew her.
