Linda Kay Jansen

Linda Kay Jansen, 77, of Kansas City, Missouri, passed away on November 24, 2023, at NorthCare Hospice after not recovering from major back surgery. Linda was born on January 31, 1946. She grew up in Lytton, Iowa and graduated from Lytton High School in 1964. After graduating from AIB Business College in Des Moines, Iowa, she began working for Farmland . She also attended Park University while working in the accounting department at MetLife. Linda married the love of her life, Dennis Jansen, on August 4, 1968, at the Lytton Presbyterian Church.

Linda is survived by her son Brady (Diana) Jansen of Kansas City, MO; sister, Judy (Bruce) Olson of Macomb, MI; sister-in-law, Leah Twa of Casa Grande, AZ; grandsons, Kalan and Michael; nieces, Sabrina (Rich) Jedlowski and Janelle (Kevin) Cooper, Shannon Norris and other relatives and friends.

Linda was preceded in death by her husband, Dennis Jansen; grandson, Matthew; brother, Bruce Kneller; parents, Eugene and Betty Kneller; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Leo and Genevieve Jansen.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Terrace Park Funeral Home on Saturday, December 2, 2023 at 10:30am, with a reception following in the main chapel.
