She was a graduate of Pacola High School where she was crowned Homecoming Queen, was a member of the Basketball team for 4 years, and was a State Champion pitcher for the Softball team. During her high school years, Linda met her husband who was serving in the Navy. Linda attended North Eastern State University in Oklahoma until marrying John William Bly on October 30th, 1961 in Ft Smith, Arkansas. Linda was the core of her family and was their constant provider of love and support. There was nothing she enjoyed more than being with her family. Her favorite past times were spending the Royal's home opener with her sisters, and snapping her fingers wildly when they scored a home run. When not at the home opener she enjoyed sitting on her front porch with the love of her life listening to the game on the radio. She loved her annual vacations with her sisters so they could giggle and be a little silly. When she was at home she made sure she showered her family with her unconditional love, hugs, kisses, smiles, and made sure a grandbaby was always on her lap. Linda was preceded in death by her mother Millie Perkins and father Buddy Perkins. She is survived by her husband John William Bly, their children: Tammi Walker, Patti Stepp-Gillett, John Bly Jr. and Lorri Cotter. Grandchildren: Kristin Gilbreth, Bethany Buehler, Molly Buehler, Brandon Walker, Brett Walker, Connor Stepp, Alex Stepp, Paul Gillett, Kathy Lynn Gillett, Aaron Bly, Abby Bly, Maggie Cotter, Tess Cotter, and Luke Cotter.
