Our dad will be greatly missed by all of us. He was a great father and provider. He was caring but strong and well principled. He was a fair man and a good leader of men. He loved our mother faithfully for their 58 years of marriage, which only ended upon her death. He loved to fish and hunt and play cards. He taught his sons how to be good men, husbands and fathers by his example and his daughter how she should be treated by men. Which in turn, led her to find an excellent, caring man who became our brother-in-law. We were blessed with great parents who were self-reliant, hardworking and moral people who set before us good examples, thus leading us to careers in teaching and law enforcement. Our family and our community have been diminished by this loss, but heaven has gained a worthy soul. We will love and remember you for the rest of our lives.
