Mr. Leo Anderson

Leo T. Anderson, 93, passed away on Thursday, July 7, 2016. Leo was born on May 11, 1923 in Lexington, Missouri to the late John Anderson and Silvia Leona Shotsman. Leo proudly served in the U.S. Army and was a great hunter and fisherman. There were many trips made to the Lake of the Ozarks and Stockton Lake to go fishing and arrowhead hunting. He enjoyed working on small motors, his 1939 tractor, and his 1978 Chevy. He also enjoyed gardening, planting vegetables and spending time cherishing his grandkids.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 62 years Evelyn Anderson, twin sister
Leona Anderson and his 3 daughters; Patricia Pettijohn, Evelyn Summers, Deanna Wilson; 8 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents Leo is preceded in death by his brother Andrew Anderson and sister Ellen Fraher.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, July 13, 2016 at Terrace Park Funeral Home at 12:00 PM with a visitation starting at 11 AM. Memorial contributions may be made to the family in lieu of flowers. Share online condolences with the family by clicking the link above.
