Lavina Mary Wiest

Lavina (Vi) Mary Wiest was born August 27, 1932 in Grandview, WA to Frank and Anna Walker.  She passed away April 14, 2012.  Vi is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Abe, her three children, Alan (Debbie) Wiest, B.J. (Terry) Wiest and Jo Agnew and 5 grandchildren, Leslie (Andrew) Scheaffer, Michelle (Will) Enochs, Sean (Megan) Wiest, Nichole Burrow and Brett Agnew as well as 4 great-grandchildren, Allison Enochs, Benjamin Scheaffer, Kinsley Wiest and Matthew Enochs.  Vi also leaves a sister, Ethel Sizemore of CA, brothers Howard and Earl Walker of WA, many nieces, nephews and very dear friends.Visitation will be held Thursday, April 19th at Mount Moriah Terrace Park,  801 NW 108th St, K.C., MO 64155 (169 Hwy & 108th St) from 5PM to 7PM with a Memorial Service following.  In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to their favorite charity in Vi's name.   Vi adored storytelling, gardening, traveling and Elvis.  She enjoyed playing cards, dominoes and board games.  For many years she and Abe kicked up their heels with The Ramblers Square Dancing Club.  She will always be remembered for her fun-loving spirit and quick sense of humor.  We will miss her very much.  Friends and family are welcome to sign the guestbook, sharing memories or tributes online at ww.mountmoriahterracepark.comArrangements under the direction of Mount Moriah Terrace Park Funeral Home; 801 N.
