.Larry is survived by his wife, Eileen; children, Brant, Robert, and Sherry; grandchildren, Stephanie, Shelby, Ethan, Scott, Morgan, Katie Beth; and nieces Rexanne Adams & Beth Elliott. His mother, father, sister and brother-in-law, Jean and Rex Henderson, preceded Larry in death. Larry was born in Tina, Missouri to Ercel and Reve Hoover in 1938. After his father passed away at an early age, he and his mother moved next door to his grandparents in Shelbina, he spent his early years playing sports and taking odd jobs around town. After high school, he went on to attend the University of Missouri, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Business in 1960. After graduation he moved to Kansas City, Missouri and started working for the accounting firm Haskins & Sells. Soon after he had his two sons, Brant and Robert. In 1976, he got the opportunity to go to work for Cole Harford and married his current wife Eileen, several years later having their daughter, Sherry. Larry and Eileen were married 36 years. They loved to travel and spend time at the Lake of the Ozarks. Larry was an avid Missouri Tiger and Chiefs football fan, and loved attending games and tailgating. Of his many blessing, Larry had wonderful friends, everyone he meet became a friendly face and he cherished his friends from his hometown, college, and work. One of Larry's great legacies is the many funny stories that can be told by the people he shared his life with. Larry leaves behind a family that will miss his kindness, generosity, and genuine smile.
