Lallie Blankenship

Lallie Blankenship of Liberty, MO passed away peacefully September 30, 2014 at home with family by her side. Visitation will be 5-7pm, Thursday, Oct. 2nd at the Terrace Park Cemetery Glass Chapel. Her service will be 11am, Friday, Oct. 3rd at the Terrace Park Cemetery Glass Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Alzheimer’s Association, Heart of America Chapter, 3846 W. 75th Street, Prairie Village, KS  66208. She was born October 18, 1933 in Cash, AR to Dorthy and David Jordan- the second of nine children. She married Raymond Blankenship May 16, 1953 and to the union four children were born. She was an active member of the Pleasant Valley Baptist Church and thoroughly enjoyed life. She retired from Hallmark cards. She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother and a loyal friend to those whose life she touched. She is preceded in death by her husband, Raymond and son, Jordan Ray. She is survived by daughter, Terry Lynne Blankenship; son, Mark Blankenship; daughter, Nancy Eckley and husband, Gary; two grandsons, Miles and Cameron Eckley; and eight brothers and sisters and many other relatives.
