Knox Jay Dutton, 1 of Smithville, Mo , son of Shiloh and Brooke Dutton passed away October 4, 2015. A Celebration of Life will be at 11:00 am Friday October 9th at Smithville United Methodist Church (505 169 Hwy), with visitation Thursday 6:00 – 7:30 pm at Terrace Park Funeral Home (169 Hwy & Shoal Creek Prkwy). Burial in Terrace Park Cemetery. Memorial contributions are suggested to Friends For Life, 1096 Longhorn Rd., Yates Center, Ks, 66783.
Knox was born on Christmas day in 2013. He enjoyed eating waffles, turning pages in books, splashing in the bathtub, listening to his Sister read to him, being held by his Dad and spoiled by his Mom, playing peek-a-boo with his dog Moose through the kitchen curtains, exploring on Grandma and Grandpa’s farm, and of course laughing.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Marinda Dutton. Survivors include his parents, Shiloh and Brooke Dutton, sister, Reese Dutton, maternal grandparents, Ivan and Vicki Jones, paternal grandfather, David Dutton, maternal great grandparents, Don and Mary Vaughn, Zella King, Lowell Jones, and paternal great grandparents, Jay and Virginia Dutton, and Marion and Jeanie Jones.
