Kenneth Griffin

Kenneth Eugene (Skip) Griffin, 67, Trimble, MO passed away Monday the 2nd of June, 2014.  The Memorial services will be 4:00 June 7 at the Outreach Christian Church, 620 S. Commercial Dr. Smithville, MO 64089. A light dinner will be held after the memorial service at the church. Kenneth was born 09/09/1948 in Coffeyville, KS. Kenneth just celebrated his 42nd anniversary with his wife Nancy. He was a proud father of 4 children and 9 grandchildren. Skip’s life and love revolved around his family first and foremost. In his spare time he enjoyed woodworking and restoring antiques, and that love was passed on to his children.  He was preceded in death by his father, Peter Irl Griffin and his mother, Wilma Jean Griffin. Skip is survived by his wife of 42 years, Nancy Griffin; his children: Kenneth Jr., Andrew, Ryan, and Elizabeth Hoinoski; His Grandchildren: Caleb, Toby, Leisel, Collin, Josephine, Henry, Lillian, Griffin Hoinoski, and Killian Hoinoski; and his sister: Kathy Trimmer. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations please be made to Outreach Christian Church in c/o The Kenneth Griffin Memorial Fund to be distributed to various non-profit organizations.
