Kendra Kay Earley, 54, of Kansas City, MO crossed over to be with the Lord on May 15, 2016. She was born on February 10, 1962 in North Kansas City, MO to Kent and Cynthia (Hopkins) Harrington.
Kendra received her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Friends University and then went on to receive her Master’s degree from the University of Phoenix in Business Administration as well. She put these degrees to good use while working at North Kansas City Hospital where she spent 20 years touching the lives of all she met.
Kendra was a loving wife and mother; her kids were her life and everything she did, she did to make sure they were better in life. She loved spending time on the beach with her family, reading, solving Sudoku puzzles and watching her favorite TV shows, The Big Bang Theory and That 70’s Show. Kendra had a passion for helping the homeless. She treated no one as a group of somebodies. Everyone was an individual and she treated them as such. Kendra was passionate, kind, caring and respectful and she expected others around her to be the same way.
Kendra is preceded in death by her father, Kent; mother, Cynthia; her infant brother; grandmother, Gladys Hopkins; maternal grandfather; both paternal grandparents and great aunt Vernie.
Those left to cherish her memory include her husband of over 20 years, Chuck; daughter, Devin and husband Chad Blomquist; son, Dylan; grandsons, Samuel and Jackson; sister, Karla Harrington and numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.
A memorial gathering will be held Saturday, May 21, 2016 from 1:30-4:30 PM at Terrace Park Funeral Home, 801 NW 108th St. (169 Hwy & Shoal Creek) Kansas City, MO.
