Kathleen (Saluzzi) Huffman

Kathleen Frances (Saluzzi) Huffman, 69, of Kansas City, MO passed away on November 22, 2018.

Kathleen was born on January 5, 1949 to Joseph and Doris Saluzzi in Kansas City, MO. Apart from raising her children she also held a clerical job at Bob’s IGA and was a hairdresser for many years. Kathleen had some health setbacks in the recent years, but that never broke her sweet, yet feisty, spirit. She was instrumental in raising her beloved granddaughter, Brandi Williams. Kathleen was a devout member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church and attended regularly up until her last year after suffering from a stroke. She was very appreciative of the help she had received from the church members and for the people that built an entrance ramp to her home.

Kathleen is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Michael “Bubba” Huffman, and brother, Sam Saluzzi.

She is survived by her children; Diana Asbury, Jennifer MacIntosh, Rachel Huffman; seven grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and sister, Elizabeth Saluzzi.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, December 6, 2018 at 10:00 a.m., rosary at 9:30 a.m., at St. Patrick's Catholic Church (1357 NE 42nd Terrace, Kansas City, MO) with interment to follow at Terrace Park Cemetery (801 NW 108th Street, Kansas City, MO).

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Patrick’s Catholic Church.
