Kari Beth Kline

January 16, 1973 — October 3, 2024

Kari Beth Kline, wife, mother, daughter, sister and devoted member of her community, passed away on October 3, 2024, at the age of 51. Kari was born on January 16, 1973, to Ronnie and Karen Pasley. She and her husband, John, married on July 31, 2003, and were together for over 30 years. Together, they had their son, Lane. Kari dedicated 33 remarkable years to her career as a hairdresser in Kansas City, Missouri, where she was known not only for her skillful hands but also for the warmth and compassion she brought into every client interaction.

Kari's heart extended far beyond her salon; revered for her nurturing nature and her selflessness, she found profound joy in serving others. This commitment was reflected in her volunteer work, particularly at Northland Christian School, where she was honored with the Excellence in Education Volunteer Award. Kari volunteered at the Welcome Center, in the lunchroom, on the Blazer Boosters, as PTF lead, and so much more. She was the first to volunteer or lend a hand in all situations and particularly left a lasting impact on the Northland Christian class of 2025. Kari also found time to volunteer at the KC Pet Project weekly. Her kindness not only touched the lives of those around her, but it also fostered a culture of giving within her family and community.

Baptized and a member of the White Church Christian Church, Kari's faith was an integral part of her life. She took comfort in her beliefs and cherished moments spent worshiping with others. Her passion for reading, especially fictional books, provided her with both solace and adventure, often fueling her dreams of beautiful escapes and stories that resonated with her heart. Kari loved to embark on trips to Florida, with Treasure Island holding a special place in her heart. Those days spent with John and Lane lounging on the beach, listening to the waves, and soaking in the sun were filled with memories and laughter. She was the heart of the family, known for her compassion, strength and endless love. Her devotion to her husband was profound, rooted in a love that grew deeper with each passing year. Together they built a life filled with laughter, support and countless cherished memories.

But above all, she found her greatest purpose in motherhood. Being a mother was not just a role to her; it was her greatest joy and her truest calling. She devoted herself wholeheartedly to Lane, who was the light of her life and her deepest pride. Her family was everything, and she embraced each day with warmth that created a home of love and laughter.

Her legacy as a compassionate giver and a devoted family member lives on in the hearts of John, Lane, and everyone who had the privilege to know her. To honor and celebrate Kari's remarkable journey, a Visitation will take place on October 16, 2024, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Terrace Park Funeral Home and Cemetery in Kansas City. Following this, a Celebration of Life Service will be held on October 17, 2024, at 1:00 PM at the same location.

In remembering Kari, we embrace the lessons she taught us about kindness, service, and the importance of cherishing each moment. Her spirit will forever remain in our hearts, guiding us as we navigate life without her radiant presence.
