Karen Vansell

Karen S. Vansell, 70, of Blue Springs, Missouri, passed away on Tuesday, July 25, 2023. She was born August 10, 1952, in St. Joseph, Missouri to the late Michael and Farolyn (Simpson) Lenz.

Karen lived a wonderful life enjoying time with her family, watching the Chiefs, shopping, playing bunco, working in the garden. She also loved to eat ice cream and of course peanut butter. Even though Alzheimer’s took its toll on her final days she always remained surrounded by the love from her family and closest friends.

She is survived by her son Jerry (Jaree) Vansell Jr., daughter Kristal (Morris) Wilson, grandchildren Bella, Sophia, and Hayden; her brother Mark (Cheryl) Lenz and her niece Christine and nephew Michael.
