Karen Kay Duff, 78, of Parkville, MO died at the NorthCare Hospice House on Thursday, November 16, 2017. She was born March 31, 1939, in Iowa City, IA to the late Armand and Geneva (Kinney) Bonanno.
Karen worked at the Walnut Creek Club House and the Walnut Creek Development Company; and she was a sales agent at the Remax North office. She was a great cook and loved to serve and be with her family and friends. She was active in many arts and crafts for charitable organizations.
She is survived by her Son Paul (Karen) Duff, daughter Annie Duff; grandchildren Conner, Camren, Alexander and Ayrik. She is also survived by her beloved dog Rosie, and many extended family members.
Visitation will be Sunday, November 19, 2017 from 2-4 PM with a Rosary Service at 3:30 PM at Terrace Park Funeral Home, 801 NW 108th St. (169 Hwy & Shoal Creek) Kansas City, MO. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, November 20, 2017 at 10:30 AM at St. Therese Parish, 7207, MO-9, Kansas City, MO 64152. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Kansas City Hospice Foundation, 1500 Meadow Lake parkway, Suite 200, Kansas City, MO 64114.
