Kansas City

Julia Ann Johnson, age 77, of Kansas City, MO, passed away on October 27th, 2020. Julie was born on March 4th, 1943, to Earl and Oneita Carson. She married the love of her life, Bill Johnson in 1961, and they settled in the Gladstone area. Throughout their nearly 60-year marriage, they were blessed with three children, four grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. Julie enjoyed fishing, swimming, and traveling. Throughout their years together, she and Bill traveled to 48 of the 50 states on their Honda Goldwing. She loved family get-togethers, and their weekly dinners with special friends, lovingly known as “the bunch”. She was an amazing cook, and always enjoyed blessing others with a home cooked meal. Julie was immensely proud of her kids, grandkids, and great-grandkids; she never missed an opportunity to brag on any of them.

She is survived by her loving husband, Bill Johnson; son, Tyrone Johnson; daughter, Tracie Kays and son-in-law James Kays; grandchildren, Brandi Cundiff and grandson-in-law Dustin Cundiff, Brandon Kays and granddaughter-in-law Stephanie Kays, Clayton Johnson, and Diana Johnson; and her great-grandchildren, Colton Cundiff, Cameron Cundiff, William Kays, Kyla Kays and Tiera Sayles.
