Jule Velma Theobald, 90, of Kansas City, MO, passed away on Tuesday, July 7, 2015. She was born September 11, 1924, in Buffalo, NY, to Joseph and Mary Schott. Visitation will be at noon on Friday, July 10, 2015, until the time of service at 1 p.m. at Terrace Park Funeral Home, 801 NW 108th St. (169 Hwy and Shoal Creek) in Kansas City, MO, with Pastor Jeff Cherry officiating.
She is survived by her son, Richard Theobald; grandchildren, Bradley Theobald, Anna Hurt, Mindy Stanturf, David Hurt, Amy Place, Lynn Foreman, Kimberly Hurt; and 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald J. Theobald, and her daughter, Mary Catherine Hurt.
Jule was a devout Christian and loved sharing her faith with others. She was a school teacher for many years at Second Creek Christian Center and a member of Harmony Christian Church. She loved to spend time with her many friends, who visited her often and provided her comfort until the very end.
