Judy Lancaster

Judy moved to the KC area in 1969 where she graduated from Oak Park high school in 1975.  She met her future husband at UMKC while obtaining a degree in Biology. In a moment of weakness she married John Lancaster. They were together for 35 years, later she attended UMKC Pharmacy School graduating in 1986. She was an active member of the KC Bonsai Society for many years. She took much pleasure in working with her trees, often vacationing at areas where Bonsai were displayed. She loved her French bulldog and all critters, she had several. Judy was a scuba diver since 1979 and enjoyed other hobbies as well. She is survived by her husband, John Lancaster; brother, Brian Whittall; sister, Linda Hendrix; mother, Frankie Austin, aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Her favorite holiday was July 4th. She will be missed dearly. A gathering will take place 2-4pm, Saturday, May 31st, 2014 at Mount Moriah Terrace Park Chapel, 801 NW 108th St. (Shoal Creek Pkwy and Hwy 169) In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given in her name to the
