Joyce Haston, 74, of Kansas City, passed away at St. Luke’s North Hospital on Friday, June 5, 2015; she was born in Kansas City, Missouri on May 13, 1941 to the late Steve Wakeman and Beulah Snow Wakeman.
She was the loving wife of nearly 52 years of Ken Haston, Dear mother of Karla and the late Kendra Haston cherished grandmother of Kira and Camden Moffett. Joyce worked as the church secretary for many years at Susquehanna Baptist Church. She will forever be remembered for always being cheerful and having a positive outlook on life. She enjoyed socializing and spending time with family, friends and her grand-dogs.
Visitation will be Monday, June 8, 2015 from 6-8 PM at Terrace Park Funeral Home, 801 NW 108th St. (169 Hwy & Shoal Creek) Kansas City, MO. Pastor Rick Jordan will officiate the funeral service on Tuesday at 10 AM at the funeral home. Interment at Terrace Park Cemetery.
