John J. Williams, 82, of Raytown, Mo passed away March 31, 2015. Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Friday April 3rd at Terrace Park Funeral Home, 169 Hwy & Shoal Creek Parkway, with visitation preceding services from 1:00 – 2:00 pm. Burial in Terrace Park Cemetery. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Sons of the American Legion, Post 21, Independence, Mo.
John was a Korean Army veteran, retired firefighter, deputy sheriff, and member of the American Legion Post 21, 40 & 8, and Sons of the American Legion. He was preceded in death by his parents, and 5 siblings. Survivors include his wife, Eva Mae Williams, daughter, Nora, stepsons, Steve (Nita) Isenhour, Sammy (Karen) Vento, step daughter, Barbara Blevins, 4 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren.
