John Latta

John L. Latta, 76, passed away on February 17, 2022. He was born on February 26, 1945. After John graduated from Center High School, he enlisted in the Air Force and served in the Vietnam War. John retired from the UMKC School of Dentistry.

John is survived by his wife of 44 years, Trudy, and their children, Angela Moffett and Denny Keaton; four grandchildren; and two great grand-children, his brothers and sisters, Michael Latta, Peggy Trinidad, Patricia Rathbun and Robert Latta, and beloved cat, Caramelo. He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Louise Latta and sister, Shirley Cox.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Disabled American Veterans or Veterans of Foreign Wars.

Services will be held on Saturday, March 5, 2022 at Terrace Park Funeral Home, with visitation from 1pm-3pm, followed by the funeral service at 3pm.
