John Bridgeman

John O. Bridgeman, age 75, of Clinton, MO., died at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, MO on Dec. 11, 2012. He was born March 6, 1937 in Bigelow, MO, the son of John and Irene Bridgeman.  He graduated from Nevada, MO High School in 1955. John was a master carpenter who worked for the Liberty, MO School District for the past 25 years.  He was a member of the Boy Scouts Tribe of Mic-O-Say and was a member of Clinton Elks Lodge No. 1034. John and his wife Karolyn were involved with Laser Innovations in Clinton and had made their home there for the past 10 years. Prior to moving to Clinton, he was a long time resident of Liberty. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, parents, and wife Jane. Besides his wife, he leaves a sister, Ann (Jim) Camp, two sons: Mark (Kristine) Bridgeman of Liberty and Craig (Dena) Bridgeman of Kearney: one daughter, Lesli (Terry) Hayter of Liberty: two stepdaughters, Linda (Jim) Steffens of Lee's Summit and Judi (David) Ewing of Liberty: one stepson, Brian (Sarena) Bearce of Ellington, CT,  ten grandchildren, three step-grandchildren and two great grandsons. Memorial service will be held at 3pm, Monday, December 17th at Mount Moriah Terrace Park Funeral Home with visitation from 1-3pm preceding the service. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to The Clinton Elk's Lodge #1034, 115 West Franklin Street, Clinton, MO  64735 or The Liberty School District Foundation, John Bridgeman Memorial Scholarship, 650 Conistor, Liberty, MO  64068
