John “Blackie” Blackburn, 75, of Kansas City, Missouri, died at St. Luke’s Hospice House on Sunday, December 18, 2016. He was born in Chicago, Illinois, to the late Joseph and Sophie Blackburn on November 8, 1941.
John proudly served in the U.S. Marine Corps.; was a longtime Kansas City, resident, working as an Airplane Mechanic for TWA for many years. He remained an airplane enthusiast his entire life. A dear brother to Phyllis and Alice.
