Joan B Pierson, passed away on February 3, 2024, in Warsaw, Missouri. She was born on August 23, 1937, in Centerville, Iowa, and married to Willie Pierson.In 1988, she made the decision to relocate to Warsaw, with her husband Willie, embracing the possibilities that life had to offer. Her strong Christian faith served as a foundation for her actions and guided her every step of the way. 

Throughout her life, Joan found solace and joy in nurturing her relationships with others. She was a devoted wife to her loving husband, supporting him through thick and thin. Together, they embarked on countless fishing and camping adventures that created cherished memories for them. 

Family meant everything to Joan, and she made it a priority to be there for her children no matter the distance. She traveled all the way to New Mexico to visit them, cherishing every moment spent together. Additionally, Joan always made sure to stay connected with her sister-in-law, in Naples, Florida. These visits brought immense joy into her life and strengthened the bonds she held so dear. 

Without a doubt, Joan was a beacon of love and warmth as she embraced the roles of motherhood and grandmotherhood. Her nurturing spirit created an environment where her children thrived while feeling unconditionally supported. As a grandmother, Joan showered her grandchildren with affection and wisdom that will live on beyond her years. 

Joan was preceded in death by her parents, John and Ruby Stober; son: Ron Pierson; brother: Jack (Peggy) Stober; sister: Jean Folsom; nephew: Jon Pierson; and daughter in law: Berylinda "Kay" Pierson. 

She is survived by her husband, Willie; sons: Rick and Michael (Marilyn) Pierson; grandchildren: Ricky Allan Pierson, Kori Jo Jungeblut, Amber Abrusko; and many other grandchildren and great grandchildren.
