Joan Newmeyer

Joan Margaret Newmeyer, 79, of Kansas City, MO passed away on December 19, 2019. Joan was born on August 26, 1940 in Brooklyn, New York. She moved to the Kansas City area in the late 1970’s to work as an analyst for TWA. She retired from TWA after 27 years and then began working for Travelport, where she worked for 10 years. Traveling was always something Joan loved, especially when it was with her sister. They traveled all over Western Europe and took many road trips from coast to coast through the United States. She also enjoyed reading, going to the movies and the theater. Joan is preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Sarah Newmeyer and will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by her sister, Jane Maddox.
