J.G. Thomas, 89 of Clearlake Oaks, CA (formerly of Kansas City, MO) passed away March 7, 2015. Funeral services will be 11:00 am Monday March 16th at Terrace Park Lakeside Cemetery Chapel, 801 NW 108th St, Kansas City, Mo (169 Hwy & Shoal Creek Prkwy), with visitation preceding services 10:00 - 11:00 am. Burial in Terrace Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Hospice Services of Lake County California, 1862 Parallel Dr., Lake Port, CA 95453 (www.lakecountyhospice.org)
J.G. was a Army veteran of World War II and the Korean Conflict. He was a truck driver at A.B.F. Trucking, retiring after 32 years of service. He was a member of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters Local #41, a Mason, and the Ararat Shrine, and life member of the V.F.W . He was preceded in death by his wife, Doris Thomas, daughter, Kimberly Clapp, his parents, and 4 brothers. Survivors include his sons, Rick (Venita) Thomas, Randy (Debbie) Thomas, brother, Aubrey Raymond Thomas, sister, Almadoris Richardson, 6 grandchildren, and 1 great grandchild.
