Jerry Colvin

Jerry Colvin, 50, passed away peacefully June 7, 2012 at the Hospice House of Kansas City, due to Vasculitis and strokes. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Monday, June 11 at Mt. Moriah Terrace Park. Funeral service is 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 12 at the funeral home.Jerry graduated from North Kansas City High School in 1980. During his career, he worked over 25 years as a driver for Watkins and FedEx Freight Services. Jerry's other priority in life was Scouting with his son, Christopher. They belonged to Troop 271, in Kansas City, North. Jerry was a Scout Master for several years and his daughter, Kasey is also in scouting. Jerry cooked many times for her troop and took her yearly to the Father-Daughter dances with pride.Jerry is survived by his wife of 25 years, Donna; son, Christopher and daughter, Kasey. He is also survived by his parents, Jack and Millie; two brothers, Michael and Philip; nephew, Kevin and niece, Karen Lane.In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donation be made to Boy Scout Troop 271; 7715 N. Oak Trafficway, Kansas City, MO 64118 or Holy Cross Lutheran Church; 2003 N.E.
