Jeffery DeWayne Klein, 56, of Kansas City, Missouri, passed away, Tuesday, August 29, 2017 at home. Jeff was born in Kansas City, Missouri, to Bernard and Betty (Herberger) Klein, on April 27, 1961. He graduated from Oak Park High School in 1979. He worked for Industrial Spring for 38 years. Jeff was will be remembered for his sense of humor, a love for animals, and his shit eating grin. In his free time he loved to hunt, hike, and eat. No matter where Jeff went, he never knew a stranger, and was notoriously kind to everyone. He was very outgoing, and spent time riding his motorcycle with his companion Kelly. Jeff’s son Dustin was his pride and joy, and played an important role of getting him into sports as a young adult.
Jeff was preceded in death by both parents, mother Verna Klein, and his fur buddy King.
He is survived by his son Dustin Klein of Kansas City, a brother Greg Klein of Kearney, MO, nieces Kristina (Travis) Overholtzer, of Kearney ,MO, Alicia (Nick) Costanzo, of Liberty, MO, and Landon Costanzo, also of Liberty, MO. He also leaves behind his companion Kelly Fenton, of Weston, MO and Bridgett Perrone, of Kansas City, MO.
Visitation will be Tuesday, September 5, 2017 at 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM with Funeral Services immediately following at 1:00 PM at Terrace Park Funeral Home; 801 NW 108th St. (169 Hwy & Shoal Creek) Kansas City, MO.
