Jeffrey T. Blackwell, 50, of Kansas City died peacefully and suddenly on Tuesday, December 23, 2014. He was born April 18, 1964 in Manhattan, Kansas to Denby and Jacqueline (Glenn) Blackwell.
Jeff had some hard times that were balanced by his love for his family. He never gave up dressing fashionable or the love of life; even after an accident in 2009 that left him paralyzed. He was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers Fan and in his earlier years he enjoyed playing football and soccer. Later in life Jeff took up Chess and would regularly beat his brother Corey.
In addition to his parents, Jeff is survived by his Brother Corey Blackwell and his fiancée Lisa Marie Buenaflor, nieces and nephew Breanna Roles, Lexie Blackwell and Kobi Blackwell ;Sister Danielle Bristol; nieces & nephew: Jamie, Haley and Amaya Bristol ;Special cousin Chris Glenn and his wife Mina and Special Aunt Kay Glenn. Also surviving are a host of other extended family and friends.
A Celebration of Life will be Saturday, January 10, 2015 from 10 AM until time of service at 11 AM with Pastor Charles Johnson officiating, at Terrace Park Funeral Home & Cemetery’s Lakeside Chapel 801 NW 108th Street, (169 Hwy & Shoal Creek), Kansas City.
