Jeanette Charlton, a devoted homemaker known for her caring nature, passed away on March 22, 2024. She will be remembered for the love and warmth she extended to all those around her.
Throughout her life, Jeanette found joy in taking care of others, embodying the true spirit of selflessness. Her nurturing personality shone through in everything she did, whether it was tending to her loved ones or creating a welcoming home for all who entered.
One of Jeanette's passions was square dancing, and she had the opportunity to share this love all over the world with the San Diego Dance Association. Her eyes would light up on the dance floor, moving gracefully to the music she held dear to her heart.
In addition to her adventures in dance, Jeanette had a special fondness for the color blue. It brought her a sense of tranquility and peace, reflecting her own calm and collected demeanor.
Outside of her roles as homemaker and dancer, Jeanette found solace in gardening. The act of nurturing plants and watching them bloom brought her a sense of fulfillment and joy.
Jeanette Charlton leaves behind a legacy of kindness and compassion that will be carried on by all those who were fortunate enough to have known her.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Ernest and Ruth Snyder; her husband: Anthony Charlton, Sr.; sister: Lee Etta Goings; and brothers: Delbert Snyder, and Skipper Pierce.
She is survived by her daughter: Rose Philpot; son: Anthony (Deborah) Charlton, Jr.; sister: Sue Pierce-Huntsman; brother: Stanley Snyder; grandchildren: Jeanette, Babette, Michael, Ryan, Carrie, Antionette, and Anthony III; great grandchildren: Jessie, Nichole, ToniRose, Alexis, Angelica, Gail, Cora, Dylan, Michael, JW, Caitlin, Dominic, Madeline, Preston, Austin, Phoenix, and Luna; as well as 18 great great grandchildren.
