Jaycee Lynn Stockwell, 18, of Kearney, MO passed away in Sacramento, CA on Sunday, May 24th, 2015. Jaycee was born November 11th, 1996 in Oceanside, CA to Leslie Ford and Jay Stockwell.
In 1998, her family moved back to Missouri, and bought a home in Kearney. Jaycee attended Kearney schools and just graduated from Kearney High School on May 15th, 2015.
Jaycee was a free spirit, full of life. She always had the most loving, generous heart. Her crystal blue eyes and beautiful smile were a light into this world that will never be forgotten.
She was a daughter, a sister, an auntie, a cousin, loved by so many. She likes Lilies, sunsets and chocolate chip frappuccinos. She planned on attending Penn Valley Community College in the Fall to study Radiologic Technology.
Jaycee is survived by her mother and step father, Leslie and Laron Ford, KC, her father, Jay Stockwell, Kearney, her maternal grandmother, Patricia Myers, KC, and maternal grandfather, Mark Myers, Venice, FL, and Roy Thomas, KC. Paternal grandmother, Bonnie Stockwell, Green Valley, AZ, step grandparents, Robert and Cecile Ford, maternal great grandmother, Erma Thomas, KC.
Three sisters, Kinsee Snapp, KC, Lauren Stockwell, KC, and Nevaeh Ford, KC. One brother, Ryan Stockwell, Ft Smith, AR. One niece, Amaiya Washington, KC. Three aunties, Jennifer Creech, Baldwin City, KS, Athena Thomas, KC, and Charis Ford, KC. One uncle, David Stockwell, Mt. Juliet, TN, and numerous other aunties, uncles and cousins.
She is preceded in death by maternal great grandparents, Minnie and Cecil Dearing, Paul and Dorothy Myers and Don Thomas. Paternal grandfather, Jo Stockwell.
Services will be at Terrace Park Funeral Home, 801 NW 108th Street, Kansas City, MO. Visitation 12:30 to 2pm, Celebration of Life at 2pm on Thursday, June 4th, 2015.
In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions are suggested to the Jaycee Stockwell memorial fund.
