Janet Faye Normandin

Janet Faye (Shatswell) Normandin of Kansas City, Missouri, age 75, passed away with her family by her side on March 12, 2025.

Janet was born on December 29, 1949, to William Solomon and Goldie May (Janes) Shatswell of Cowell, AR.

She is survived by her husband David Normandin. The joy of her life was her son, Brett Normandin (Amanda) who gave her the lights of her life, two precious grandchildren, Analeigh and Oliver.

She is survived by her sister Veneta Ellis of Kansas City, Missouri, and many nieces, nephews and relatives.

She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, J.R. Shatswell of Widefield, CO, Bob Shatswell of Kansas City, MO., and George Shatswell of Kansas City MO.; four sisters, Arvilla Smith of Vendor, AR.; Mary Sue King of Kansas City MO., Charlene Smith of Batavia, Ar.; and Geraldean Smith of Batavia, AR.

Janet’s final resting place will be the bluff at the Big Creek, Vendor AR, Newton County.
