Jane C. Welles, 78, of Kansas City, MO, passed away peacefully on March 17, 2022. She was born to the late James Carmichael and Frances Carmichael on May 28, 1943. She was married to the love of her life, Brian Welles.
Jane was a member of the Fellowship of Grace church located in Parkville, MO. She was a teacher who spent her entire career impacting the lives of children in the fourth grade.
She loved to read, and was known for her creative pig collection. She enjoyed going to the thrift stores and antique shopping. Often, she traveled to the Lake of the Ozarks and spent time with her friends and family on their cabin cruiser. There were many nights that she enjoyed sitting by the fire and telling stories. She loved her family with all her heart. One of the memories that her grandchildren will hold near is when grandma would give coins to them every Christmas which was a tradition started by Janes father. Jane was the most kind, caring, and laid back person that would be there when you needed her. She will truly be missed by those that love her.

She is survived by her children: Jennifer Gleason, and Michael (Jami) Milller; grandchildren: Wesley, Keira, and T.J.; sister: Anne (Max) Miller; sister-in-law: Carolyn Carmichael; as well as many nieces and nephews.
