James R. Repass, 82, of Kansas City, Missouri, passed away on Saturday, January 28, 2017, at the Piper Assisted Living Center, in Kansas City Kansas. James was born September 24, 1934 in Kansas City, Missouri to the late Jack and Helen (Patterson) Repass.
Jim was a warm and generous person able to talk to anyone about anything and always ready to lend a helping hand. He retired from KCPL in 1994 after 32 years as a lineman, and past president of Local Union 1464. He leaves many friends and great memories of his time working there. He loved collecting things that he could use on his 70 acres and filled his barns with all sorts of interesting and usable items. Jim was also a member of the American Legion Post 318 in Parkville, Missouri.
In addition to both parents Jim was preceded in death by his brother Hugh and his beloved son Jimmy. Survivors include his wife Sandy, of the home, sister Jackie Lang, daughter Kim Mynatt, grandchildren; Kary and Travis, great grandchildren; Cassidy and Katie; and great great grandson Elijah.

Visitation will be Wednesday, February 1, 2017 from 10:00 AM until time of service at 11:00 AM at the Terrace Park Funeral Home; 801 NW 108th St. (169 Hwy & Shoal Creek) Kansas City, MO. Burial to follow in Terrace Park Cemetery with military honors. Luncheon at noon.
