James Matthews

James Frederick Matthews, 47 passed away at Research Medical Center on Saturday February 18, 2012. Jimi was born on December 2, 1964 at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington D.C. Jimi is survived by two brothers, Chris Matthews of Kansas City and Joe Dufore of Mount Airy, Maryland. He is also survived by his sister in law Brandi Matthews and his adoring fiancée Stacee Cohn whom he lived with the last 3 years of his life. Jimi also had a deep love for animals and leaves behind his fierce kitty Samson and his ferocious dog Fawkes. Jimi was a strong, loyal and fiercely dedicated friend, brother, fiancée and employee. He will be terribly missed. Visitation will be held at Mount Moriah Terrace Park Funeral Home on Wednesday, February 22, 2012 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM.
