Jacquelyn Ann “Jackie” Shoemaker, 58, of Kansas City, MO was called home to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday January 21, 2017, in Kansas City, MO. She was born December 3, 1958 in Kansas City, MO, to Darlene (the late Bob) McConnell and the late Jack R. Nantz.  She went to high school at Hickman Mills High School, in Kansas City, MO, where she met her high school sweetheart Randall Shoemaker, and later married him on June 4, 1977, in Kansas City, MO.  She worked as an IT site manager for Colgate Palmolive Company for 24 years and she most recently worked as a Senior Member Service Specialist at Dairy Farmers of America for the last 4 plus years. Jacquelyn was a strong woman of faith, who gave selflessly, and loved endlessly.

She was the loving wife of 40 years to Randall C. Shoemaker, beloved mother of Randall (Brandi) Shoemaker, Karie (Mark) Sedlak, and the late Andrew R. Shoemaker.  She was the beloved sister of Sherry Nantz, Carla Hanna, Annette Nantz, and the late Scott Nantz.  She was the loving daughter of Darlene (Bob) McConnell, and the late Jack R. Nantz.  She was the beloved grandmother of 5; Jett Pedersen, Vanessa Sedlak, Olivia Shoemaker, Isaac Shoemaker, and one on the way, Grant Sedlak.

Until we meet again, we give thanks and glory to God for our time with you here, our precious mother, grandmother, daughter, aunt, niece, and cousin.  “Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of his saints.” Psalm 116:15

Visitation will be from 5-7 PM, Friday January 27, 2017, at Christ Lutheran Church, 6700 NW 72nd St, Kansas City, MO 64151.  Funeral services will be held at the church at 10 AM on Saturday, January 28, 2017.   Burial will follow at Terrace Park Cemetery, 801 NW 108th St, Kansas City, MO 64155.  Memorial contributions may be made to Christ Lutheran Church.  Share online condolences at TerraceParkFuneral.com.
