Jacqueline Jones

Jacqueline C. "Jackie" Jones, 88, of Kansas City, MO passed away on Saturday, December 23, 2017. She was born October 25, 1929 in Tipton, MO, to the late Marvin and Delphia (Moon) Carey.
Jackie, as she was known to her friends, had a great sense of humor; she could be found sitting on the bench in front of Riverstone, whistling. She loved cats, music and had been the accompanist at Winnetonka High School, she enjoyed sewing and crafts and was a faithful member, past choir director, CWF leader and Deacon at Fairview Christian Church.
She is survived by her three loving children David (Joni) Jones, Milton (JoBeth) Jones and Lisa Callahan; grandchildren, Jeremy Jones, Carey (Brett) Hoover-Higgins, Quentin Cohlby (Stephanie) Jones, Jaryn (Mark) Schneider, Crystal Hoover, and Brent (Kristina) Jones. Great-grandchildren Addi and Zyler Jones, Nora, Mack, Tyus Schneider and Harper Higgins.
In addition to her parents, Jackie is preceded in death by her husband of 57 years Donald Q. Jones and a great-granddaughter Ayla Faith Schneider.
Visitation will be Thursday, December 28, 2017 from 10 AM until time of service at 11 AM at Fairview Christian Church, 1800 NE 65th Street, Gladstone, MO. Interment will follow at Terrace Park Cemetery.
