Jack Stow

Jack Owen Stow, 87, passed away on May 19, 2019. Jack was born on January 8, 1932 to Charley and Rowena (Huett) Stow in Redman, Missouri. After graduating high school, he joined the United States Navy as a seaman, traveling all around the world. Upon his return he married Wynona Wood on November 22, 1954 and they had three children. Jack worked as a postman for most of his life and after retiring started his business, Stow Automart, buying and selling used cars. When he wasn’t hard at work, he enjoyed nothing more than playing a few rounds of poker with friends and spending time with his family, especially his best buddy, Karsen.

Jack is preceded in death by his wife of 36 years, Wynona; his parents, two sisters; and son-in-law, Dan. He will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by his children, Debbie Beauchamp, Charley Stow, and Jack Jr. (Bobbi) Stow; grandchildren, Lauren Smiddy, Jessica and Rachel Beauchamp, Katie Stumpff, and Dalton Stow; great grandson, Karsen Smiddy; and many lifelong friends.

A celebration of life will be held at the Terrace Park Cemetery Lakeside Chapel on Tuesday, May 21st at 1:00 pm.
