Idevan Cummings

Idevan Scott "Red" Cummings, 91, passed away May 2, 2013 at Garden Valley Nursing Home. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 7, 2013 at Mount Moriah Terrace Park Funeral Home. Burial in Mount Moriah Cemetery. Friends may call one hour prior to the service on Tuesday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Wounded Warriors or the Disabled American Veterans.  Scott was born February 19, 1922 in Omaha Nebraska. He graduated from North East High School in 1940. Scott served in the U.S. Army from 1938 to 1945 during WW II.  He was employed with Northwest Airlines and TWA Airlines for 38 years, retiring in October 1983. Scott liked to travel with his wife Barbara. He enjoyed gardening and wood working. He is preceded in death by his wife, Barbara A. Cummings. Survivors include 3 sons, Alan and wife Karen Cummings; David Cummings; Mark and wife Carolyn Cummings; 10 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren.
