Henry Winson Eitel, Jr. (Hank) 94, of Kansas City, Mo passed away September 20, 2015. Funeral services are 1:00 pm Friday September 25th at McMurry United Methodist Church, 25 Eugene Field Rd, Claycomo, Mo, with visitation preceding services 11:30 – 1:00 pm. Burial in Terrace Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to McMurry United Methodist Church, Alzheimer’s Assn. Heart of America Chapter or NorthCare Hospice & Palliative Care.
Henry was born March 21, 1921 in Macon County, Mo. Henry was a Navy veteran of World War II. He married Marjorie Crawford Eitel on April 20, 1947. He retired from General Motors after 32 years of service, and was a member of McMurry United Methodist Church for over 50 years. Henry was preceded in death by his parents, and siblings, Leonard, Lester, Mervin, Velma and Carl. Survivors include his wife of 68 years, Marjorie Carolyn Eitel, children, Nelda Eitel (Allen) Wiley, Ernie (Carol) Eitel, 2 grandchildren, Matt (Meagan) Wiley, Erin (Russell) Walter, 6 great grandchildren, Devon, Jade, Elizabeth, Kyleigh, Alex and Isaac.
