Helen P. Cotter, 85 of Holt, MO died at Excelsior Springs Care Center on Monday, March 14, 2016. She was born December 3, 1930, in Independence, MO to the late John E. Hupman and Estella Hughes Hupman.
Helen was the Directory Assistance Manager at Southwestern Bell, where she had more than 35 years of perfect attendance; she was always fair, yet strict. She loved Cascones Italian Restaurant, BLT Sandwiches, miniature Powdered donuts and her family.
She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Lee Cotter, Daughters Linda (George) Pinkerton and Debra (Jeff) Cindrich and son David (Indah) Keeton, Grandchildren Leah Wooten and Joey Hon, Great grand children Michael Andreu, Reah Scott, Reign Hartley, and Chloe Hartley, brothers Jim, John and Gene Hupman. Also surviving is her best friend Georgia Milam and numerous extended family and friends.
In addition to her parents, Helen is preceded in death by her daughter Karen Keeton, siblings Paul Hupman, Elizabeth Ingalls, Evelyn Davis, Marie Nead and Bill Hupman,
Visitation will be Monday, March 21, 2016 from 11-1 PM at Terrace Park Funeral Home, 801 NW 108th St. (169 Hwy & Shoal Creek) Kansas City, MO. Funeral service will be Monday at 1 PM at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Terrace Park Cemetery.
