Hazel Davis

Hazel E. Davis, 94, of Kansas City, MO passed away peacefully August 4, 2017. She was born March 15, 1923 in Kansas City, KS to the late Edward and Gladys (Utter) Hartness.
Hazel grew up in the Kansas City area and on February 14, 1947 she married the love of her life, Harold E. Davis. Together they spent almost 55 years before his passing in 2001. Hazel played the piano and organ and had a love for sewing. She could also be found at the local casinos playing the slot machines.
In addition to her husband and parents, Hazel was preceded in death by her brother, Louis Hartness and son, Ronald W. Davis.
Those left to cherish her memory include her sons, Keith E. Davis of Parkville, MO and Thomas A. Davis of Kansas City, MO; grandsons, Scott A. Davis of Summerville, SC, Jason W. Davis of Hot Springs, AR, Matt C. Davis of Gilbert, AZ; great-granddaughters Skylar and Karson Davis both of Summerville, SC and great-grandson, Spencer Davis of Gilbert, AZ.
Visitation will be Wednesday, August 9, 2017 from 1-2 PM with Funeral Services immediately following at 2 PM at Terrace Park Funeral Home; 801 NW 108th St. (169 Hwy & Shoal Creek) Kansas City, MO. Burial to follow in Terrace Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Kidney Foundation or American Heart Association.
