Harold “Gene” Sohn, 85, of Gladstone, MO passed away, Tuesday, May 17, 2016 at NorthCare Hospice House. He was born November 30, 1930 in St. Clair, Missouri, the son of the late Floyd and Katherine (Lampey) Sohn.
Gene worked for more than 30 years in the TWA Maintenance Department retiring as the Maintenance Supervisor. After retiring he took to woodworking, making small items and some furniture. He cherished the time he could spend with his family.
He was the loving husband of Leona Sohn who died in 2011. Dear dad of Larry Sohn, Terry (Pam) Sohn, Linda (Terry) Nedved, Michael (Cari) Trotter, David Trotter, Pamela Eberhart and Dennis (Kari) Trotter, beloved grandfather of 11 great-grandfather of 10 and a dear friend to many.
Visitation will be Monday, May 23, 2016 from 1-2 PM with Funeral service at 2 PM at Terrace Park Funeral Home, 801 NW 108th St. (169 Hwy & Shoal Creek) Kansas City, MO. Entombment will follow at Terrace Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Wayside Waifs 3901 Martha Truman Rd, Kansas City, MO 64137.
