Harold Roberts

Harold G. Roberts, 87, of Kansas City, Missouri passed away Saturday July 16, 2011 at Northcare Hospice House. He was born April 21, 1924 in Bergman, Arkansas, the son of Clarendon and Esther Roberts. Funeral services will be at 11 AM Wednesday July 20, 2011 with visitation one hour prior to service at Mount Moriah Terrace Park Funeral Home. He served in the US Army from April 1943 to February 1946 in New Guinea. He then returned to Kansas City where he married Donna Hopkins. He went to work for The Federal Reserve Bank until he retired in 1983. He was an active member of Linden Baptist Church for 57 years where he held many positions, Deacon, Teacher, included. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Donna and his stepfather Leroy Bartlett. He is survived by a sister, Treva (Fearnside) Bailey, one nephew, five nieces, many cousins, other relatives and friends. Harold will be missed by all.
