Harold C. (Corky) Maddox, 71, of Kansas City, MO. passed away on April 24, 2012. A memorial service will be held at 3PM Saturday April 28, 2012 with the family receiving friends one hour prior to service at Mount Moriah Terrace Park Funeral Home.Corky was born April 13, 1941 in Oklahoma City, OK. He spent his early years in Kansas City's Northeast area where he met many of his lifelong friends. Corky graduated from Northeast High School in 1959. He worked for many years at TWA. After retiring from TWA, Corky worked part time at the KC Auto Auction and Cardinal Hill Golf Course. He was an avid golf fan and a talented artist. Corky was a gifted handy man. He enjoyed the outdoors and spending time with his family. One of Corky's true passions was attending his grandchildren's activities, even as recently as last week when his physical condition made it difficult to do so. He was preceded in death by his son Tim Maddox and his mother Ida Zumault. He is survived by his wife Debby Maddox; his brothers Al (Donna) Maddox, Larry Maddox, and Dale (Pat) Maddox; his children Staci (John) Perrin, Todd (Jeana) Eggers, and Shelby (Ross) Cascio; grandchildren Quinton Perrin, Elle Eggers, Billy Eggers, Victor Cascio, and Ryan Cascio; brothers in law Mark (Deb) Langsdale and Jay Langsdale; and many nieces and nephews. Our heartfelt thanks are extended to Crossroads Hospice, and specifically to Kathy Dixon, for their compassion. Kathy's care for Corky throughout his battle was a true blessing.
