Glenn Lane

Glenn Theoruse Lane Jr., son of the late Glenn Theoruse Lane Sr. & Betty Mae (Benson) Lane, was born on May 3, 1968 and departed this life on August 7, 2019. At the time of his passing he was 51 years of age.

Glenn was born in Kansas City, MO, raised in Liberty, Missouri and later attended Liberty High School. A short time later Glenn & Debbie had their son, Michael Lane.  Together they raised their family in the Liberty, MO area and later moved to Turney, MO. Together they loved to spend time outdoors with various activities such as floating on the river, camping and mushroom hunting. He enjoyed building model kites and rockets. His chosen career was in carpentry and construction. He worked as hard as he played and he played as hard as he worked.

Glenn was preceded in passing by his parents; and two siblings, Frances and John. He is survived by his son, Michael (Katrina) Lane; Michael’s mother, Debbie; four siblings, Edythe (Jim) Weber, Iva (Bill) Hanna, Bonnie (Bobby) Zendejas and Carl (Susan) Lane; and two grandchildren, Lucas and Brantlee.  He also leaves behind several other friends and family who will all truly miss him.

A memorial service will be held at Terrace Park Cemetery – Lakeside Chapel on Monday, August 12th at 2:00pm, with visitation beginning one hour prior and burial at a later date.
