Geraldine “Geri” Esther Riley, daughter of the late Thomas & Josephine (Burton) Baker, was born on September 2, 1930 in Columbia, Missouri and departed this life on December 22, 2018 in North Kansas City, Missouri. At the time of her passing she was 88 years of age.
Geri was reared and attended school in Columbia, Missouri. On February 15, 1947 she was united in marriage to Myron Riley and to this union three children were born, all of whom survive her. They were very active in their local church and enjoyed singing in the church choir and ministering to people in nursing homes. She loved to fish, sew, knit and crochet. She and Myron traveled to area nursing homes to sing and she also sang in a ladies quartet. She truly enjoyed the holiday season and loved having her family together any chance they could.

She is survived by her three children, Myron (Teresa) Riley Jr., Dena (Larry) Leslie, and Connie (David) Cecil; six grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Elizabeth Smith and Velma (Jerry) Morris.
