Geraldine Hamilton

Geraldine “Gerry” Hamilton, 93, of Kansas City, Missouri, died on Sunday, December 3, 2017.  She was born January 20, 1924 in McCrory, Arkansas to Charles L. and Viola (Nail) Chadwick.

Gerry led by a Godly example and blessed all those lives she touched. She enjoyed every moment spent with her family including her beloved husband, two daughters, four grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. Gerry never indicated discouragement and was never heard to complain. Her passing leaves a vacuum in the life of each member of her family and many friends that can never be filled. Her place in our lives is now empty but her family and friends sorrow not as do those that have no hope, for we know that she has only moved into a better place—a place where sorrow and death do not exist.

She is survived by her daughter Sabina (Harry) Taute, grandchildren Scott (Missy) Crist, Justin (Regina) Taute, Kyle Taute and Leslie Hatch, great-grandchildren Oliver and Finnegan Taute. Brothers Bill and Richie Chadwick, many brothers-in-law, Sister-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

In addition to her parents, Gerry is preceded in death by her husband Calvin Hamilton, daughter Celia Lynn Crist, sister Rachel Wilfong and brothers Donald Chadwick and Leslie Chadwick.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, December 16, 2017 from 11:00 A.M.-12:00 P.M. at the Terrace Park Funeral Home 801 NW 108th Street, Kansas City Missouri.
