George Neece, 84, of Liberty, MO passed away July 26, 2017. He was born December 16, 1932 to Ben Neece and Jesse (Thorpe) White.
George served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War. He met the love of his life while at Winstead’s on the Plaza, and together they spent 61 happy years together.
George was preceded in death by his mother, Jesse White; father, Ben Neece; brothers, Joe (Nadine) Neece and Frank Neece and brothers-in-law, Archie Sloan, Wally Walters and Garland Grechus.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Sylvia; children, Waunita (Richard) Hansen, Susan (Tom) Shaul, Gary (Sonya) Neece; 7 grandchildren, Celeste, James, Chelsy, Zack, Zeb, Julia, Ally; 8 great-grandchildren, Collin, Cameron, Marko, Tristan, Erik, Emerson, Carissa, Derrick; siblings, Dorothy Sloan, Thomas (Bonnie) Neece, Mae (Dean) Johnson, Margaret Grechus, Dolly Walters as well as many loved nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be Monday, July 31, 2017 at 11:30 AM in Terrace Park Cemetery. Casual dress is requested. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to the Disabled American Veterans.
